This unassuming pencil has slowly become one of my favorites. I found it in the "junk" drawer of an old drafting supply shop along with the flotsam and jetsam of compass and slide rule parts. The transparent barrel is eminently functional, the spare design is very elegant, and it feels nice in the hand.
I have a few other transparent barreled leadholders on display such as the
Eberhard Faber Colorbrite 3110 and a pushbutton clutch
Niji 124 which also has the necessary transparent inner lead tube to make a transparent pushbutton design workable.
