The transparent barrel and lead tube are unique to this pushbutton leadholder. The “Carlos” twist lock clutch leadholder also has a transparent barrel, which I have always thought was a very useful feature. I am suprised more leadholders don’t have transparent barrels. This set of Hasbro refillable colored pencils also makes good use of transparent plastic.


The original packaging included 24 variously colored leads.
