I dearly love the clean design of this pencil. The nose is essentially the same profile used on Staedtler’s Marsmicro 775. On the 775 it seems very clumsy and dull. Here, where the simplicity of the barrel reinforces the cone-shaped nose, it feels perfect.

Sure. There are other automatic pencils around. But with this model, Staedtler took the bold step of completely eliminating the pushbutton. What? You wish to retract the lead to put the pencil in your pocket? Sorry. The lead automatically advances only, it never retreats.
